Architecture - the battle between form and chaos, clarity and confusion, possibility and impossibility. Buildings structure our space, the clock structures our time, language structures our communication and understanding, the law structures our behavior, the screen structures our seeing. Architecture en-ables life as we know it - but what does it dis-able? When is structure freedom and when is it imprisonment?

Strategies Against Architecture explores the tension between structure and chaos at every level of our lives. Developed through company improvisation and incorporating Big Picture Group's multimedia aesthetic, Strategies Against Architecture treats these issues on the personal as well as the thematic level -- the unwritten rules and unspoken understandings that become the architecture of our most intimate interactions.
